Recently I had the honor of adopting an older dog named Bonita that was passed up for over 500 days at my local SPCA. There was a video taken the day I came to pick her up and that video has now gone viral.
There have been tens of millions of views and stories from news groups around the world!
Bonita has become a staple for the moniker "Adopt Don't Shop" and why it is so important to never pass up the older dogs because they have a lot of love and appreciation to give. She will continue to use her Celebrity Status to educate people on the importance of adopting an animal at their local shelters.
