25 miles north of Florence, on the top of a hill, this country home is perfect for large family gatherings and weddings. Close to the spas of Montecatini Terme, the towns of Leonardo da Vinci and Pinocchio and many other areas of historic and artistic interest.
Immersed in a green park of over 10 hectares of olive trees, orchards, gardens and woods, Il Falcone offers its guests a relaxing outdoor vacation, of well being, in contact with nature. The house is situated on a hill top, dominating the entire valley with a stunning 360° panoramic view. Thanks to its location, there are many beaten or natural paths, ideal for hiking and mountain bike lovers. It is within 5 minutes of Montecatini Terme, a renowned thermal town in the heart of Tuscany. Montecatini Terme offers its visitors exclusive shopping, thermal baths and cures. You are able to reach all the major artistic cities in Tuscany such as: Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Vinci (the Village of the great Leonardo), Collodi (Pinocchio’s place of birth) and many other areas including the seaside of Viareggio. Numerous tourist events, festivals and historical re-enactment take place in Tuscany during the summer. Convenient to restaurants, theatres, golf clubs, horse riding stables, tennis, cinemas and much more. You are surrounded by many enchanting medieval villages that are visited by tourists for festivals and countryside events yet at Il Falcone you will feel at home in its peaceful surroundings.
Il Falcone has been completely renovated recently yet maintains the charm of an old Tuscan country villa. It has an area of approximately 600 sq m. And it is encircled by stone walls. The access to the Villa is through a private illuminated 800 meter road that is lined by broad leaf and white spruce trees. The Villa is equipped with every modern accessory and service, in order to guarantee your maximum comfort. It has 12 bedrooms with bathrooms, a dining room, a kitchen and other service areas; all the interiors are decorated with high style finishing elegantly furnished.
Surrounding the Villa, guests can avail to a private swimming pool, a garden and a sunning terrace, all equipped with the comforts of deck chairs, sun umbrellas, tables, sun beds, sun shades and a gazebo; there is also a barbeque, a wood burning oven, an enclosed area for pets, a table-tennis, mountain bikes, a children’s play area. There is ample parking in a private parking area next to the villa.
Cooking classes or kitchen services are available for our guests (payable on premises with an extra charge). Kitchen services includes typical area meals, made of genuine products from Tuscany, are well prepared by Anna, your villa cook. She can create a simple Tuscan meal to an elegant dinner party and will pair them with a wonderful Chianti wine. The owners also produce and sell superb extra virgin olive oil in bottles of 1 or 2 liters.
It is possible to have spa treatments arranged at the villa for an additional charge.
