This comfortable and peaceful cottage is on a quiet lane in Spruce Head Village with glorious wide views over Seal Harbor beach. Carry your kayak the few hundred feet to the beach to launch it. Within a two minute walk you will find a Fisherman's Shack to buy Fresh Crab and Lobster. Everywhere you stroll on the Spruce Head peninsula you will see the ocean sparkling blue and shiny. Rockland is a 10 minute drive away and offers world class restaurants and art galleries, including the famous Farnsworth Museum featuring many Wyeth and Winslow Homer works. The Mid-Coast area is situated perfectly for day trips to Pemaquid to the South and Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor to the North. Spruce Head is a traditional New England village with lobstering roots, and offers convenient sailboat and motorcraft moorings as well as easy staging points for Ocean Kayakers eager to explore the myriad islands of the Mussell Ridge Channel around Spruce Head.
This cottage has two bedrooms, each with a full sized bed, and has one bathroom with laundry and shower. This cottage is sized for and suggested for a family of 4, where it is expected there are 2-3 adults and then up to 2 children. This cottage may be a bit small for 4 adults.
