Conkle's Hollow - The rocky gorge is the deepest in the state. Black Hand sandstone cliffs tower 250 feet above a valley of hemlocks birch, and wildflowers. Hikers may choose between a mile-long, relatively easy walk along the valley floor or the more adventurous, 2.5-mile Rim Trail which encircles the gorge. Conkle's Hollow is located between Rock House and Old Man's Cave just off State Route 374.

Old Man's Cave - The hub of Hocking Hills activity, the gorge known as Old Man's Cave spills over with local folklore. Named for a hermit named Richard Rowe, the recess was reportedly the man's home after the Civil War and now his burial site. The gorge boasts two waterfalls, the Devil's Bathtub, where tumbling water has formed circular tunnel for churning water, and The Sphinx Head, a formation resembling that of the Egyptian Sphinx. Old Man's Cave is located off State Route 664S.

Ash Cave - The rim of the recess known as Ash Cave is a 700-foot sandstone horseshoe, forming the roof of a shelter large enough to seat hundreds. From here, a waterfall plunges to a pool 90 feet below. An enormous mound of ashes on the floor gives the cave its name. Trails to the cave are completely accessible to the physically challenged. Ash Cave is located on State Route 56.

Natural Rock Bridge - Hocking County's rock bridge is the largest of the three natural bridges in Ohio. The bridge is 100 feet long, rises 45 feet above the gorge and forms a 30-degree curve completely detached from neighboring rocks. The Rockbridge State Nature Preserve is located off U.S. 33 between State Routes 374 and 180 on Dalton Road.

    Testimonials
“We had an awesome time at Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, and Ash Cave. Then we came home and drank champagne with strawberries, and relaxed in the hot tub. Saw lots of birds and two wild turkeys! Our dog, Mila, had the time of her life! We enjoyed massages, and making breakfast, lunch, and dinner for each other and taking in the beautiful scenery! This is not our first time here and we’ll be back! “
