Welcome to Colonel Bill's Creekside Lodge in Asotin Built in 1914, it is fully restored using authentic construction techniques, handmade tile and period antiques.
Colonel Bill’s Creekside Lodge is a private week-stay lodge located in the small town of Asotin, Washington, population 1095. Tucked into the eastern most corner of the state of Washington bordered by Asotin Creek and the Snake River, Colonel Bill’s Creekside Lodge is perfect for the outdoor sports enthusiast who is looking for an authentic western experience.
Whether your interests include white water rafting, touring Hell’s Canyon, wine tasting, traveling the Lewis and Clark trail, hunting for chukar or deer or fishing for steelhead, this historic valley, the site of the confluence of the Clearwater and the legendary Snake River, welcomes you.
The great Nez Perce tribal leaders, Chief Joseph and Chief Timothy traveled down from the hills and used this lovely valley as their winter hunting grounds. When the land was teeming with game and the mighty Snake was full of steelhead and sturgeon, this land sustained and nurtured a vanishing way of life ~ a way of life captured for you to enjoy at Colonel Bill’s Creekside Lodge.
So, pack your bags, leave your everyday world behind and bring your dog ~ travel back in time. . . sit on the porch on warm, starry nights after a day on the river, laugh with your friends, listen to the creek and like Colonel Bill would do ~ spin your own shaggy dog stories.
An historic 1914 Craftsman house restored to its authentic roots, including hadmade tiles, harwood floors and period antiques.
Like other classic Craftsman housed of the era, the livingroom and dining room form one large great room. All of the woodwork is original.
The lodge is distinguished by original art, handcrafted custom furniture, beautiful antiques, handsome fabrics and vintage accessories.
The two handmade carved, wood-framed chairs are Norwegian. The decking is raw hide.
The original art is from Colonel Bill's collection. His collection features oils from local artist and physician Paul Lambert, limited edition Charles M. Russel prints and original screen prints by Elton Bennet and Walton Butts.
The leaded glass and woodwork is original.
