Tucked away at the end of Thorndale Beach, vacationers will find "Panfish Inn."
The three bedrooms offer variety including; a King room, a Queen room, or room with 2 single beds. The living area is open, and guests cooking in the kitchen can visit with the rest of the party. A sectional sofa gives guests plenty of room to spread out in the living room, which has a tv, vcr and dvd player. The bathroom has a shower/tub combo.
The beachfront is pleasant, with sand brought in for tenderfoots and castle builders. A chiminea style firepit is available for contained campfires. The covered porch in back provides shade and cover from summer sun or storm and the front patio deck is a comfortable spot to observe the lakefront. Bring a deck of cards or a bottle of Finger Lakes wine, it won't be tough to find relaxation in the shade on Canandaigua Lake.
Just a short trip away from Canandaigua, where guests can stock up at the local Wegman's Grocery, visit the acclaimed Wine and Culinary Center, take a trip to Sonnenburg Gardens, or meander down Main Street for quaint shopping (be certain to visit the Goody II Shoppe, a long-time-favorite Canandaigua gift shop.)
