The Master Suite is a ground floor, 2 Bedroom 1 Bath,
1200 Square Foot Living Space. An escape by the sea
for the design conscious traveler. Sleeping
arrangements for 1 – 5 persons.
The double doors of the Queen Size Master Bedroom
open to the living room & dining room areas to create
loft like space. Featuring 600 Thread Count Bed Linens,
Non Allergenic Duvet & Fleece blankets on a pillowtop
mattress. Ceiling fan & ambiance options with
dimmable lights. 32” LCD TV, DVD Player & Audio
System. A collection of critically acclaimed DVD’s is at
hand for movie fans. Primp while seated at the full
length vanity workstation equipped with blow dryer,
convenience outlets & dimmable work lights.
The Sunrise bedroom features two double beds, one at
ground level and one in the 80 square foot sleeping
loft. A vanity station with sink makes group getaways
no problem. Also computer workstation, 32" LCD TV,
DVD Player & Audio System complete this bedroom's
amenities.
The Living Room & Dining Room space is designed to
indulge the senses. Taste: Pour a glass of wine or fix a
cocktail at the service bar area equipped with a 50
bottle wine cooler, fulcrum corkscrew, & a variety of
glassware, decanters & ice buckets for all occasions.
Touch: Relax on the Italian leather sofa. Sight: Watch
TV or a movie on the 47” LCD TV, Sports fans will enjoy
the NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice & Gol TV
programming. Hear: Listen to an album from one of the
2000+ from the iTunes session, assign it to the audio
network & enjoy it in every room or plug your iPod into
the dock. Smell: Savor the olfactory pleasure of your
dinner being prepared for you by our gourmet on-
demand service, inquire for details.
The Dining Area has seating for 6, with expansion
capabilities to 10 hosting a dinner party is easy.
Gourmet meals in this kitchen are easy. Equipped with
Stove, Fridge, Ice Maker, Dishwasher, Microwave,
Disposal, Coffeemaker & Toaster, Calphalon Cookware
& Henckels Knives, Waffle iron, Blender, Toaster Oven,
Espresso Maker, Food Processor, Popcorn Maker, Wand
Mixer, Herbs & Spices, Cooking Oil, Condiments,
Coffee, Tea, Creamer & other kitchen stock basics. An
island gives more counter workspace & a great spot for
guests to socialize with the cook. Place Settings for 12.
Don't miss a moment of the entertainment while
cooking, Satellite & Cable TV programming on the 15"
LCD TV, or assign the iTunes session to the bookshelf
audio system.
The air conditioned Sun Room allows hours of natural
light for spending time with a book. A desk with free
high speed internet makes work away from the office
no problem.
The 3 piece bath features a double shower stall, rain
shower head & hand held shower massager, heated
towel rack & Egyptian Cotton Bath linens.
A laundry room equipped with washer, dryer, iron &
ironing board, stocked with laundry supplies makes
long trips away from home easier.
Step out your kitchen door onto your own private
fenced deck, relax in a chair feeling the ocean breeze
or grill some dinner on the gas grill.
Exit your private deck area to the shared garden
entertainment area with seating for 10 around the
firepit. Relax under a shade canopy on the hammock or
swing seat. Park your bicycle at the shaded bicycle
rack, or grab one of the free house bicycles.

We believe the small details & personal service make
the difference. We as the owner/managers of La
Palmeraie have 15 years of extensive worldwide
business travel experience to call upon to understand
the needs & wants of our clientele. For our own
personal travel needs we only use vacation rentals &
boutique hotels, giving us positive & negative
experiences from the traveler’s perspective. The
considerations to and the indulgences for our guests
are a reflection of cumulative experience as clients.
Pets are important members of any family; we welcome
the dogs & cats in your party with dangerous breed
exceptions.
We live in the neighborhood, and thus can provide
valuable insight on our area, while also being available
to attend to guest’s needs at short notice.
Guest comfort & safety are our paramount concerns.
We use only 600 thread count bed linens & Egyptian
cotton bath linens. Our linens never come in contact
with chlorine bleach in deference to sensitive skin &
environmental concerns. Our linens are soaked in a
Woolite solution for 24 hours & then laundered.
Unlike many hotels & vacation rental properties our
cleaning service never “tops up” the linen count in a
suite. Every single thread of bed & bath linens,
including duvet covers are removed to be laundered &
replaced with an all new stock of sanitized linens.

La Palmeraie is a classic Florida beach house originally
constructed in 1933, as the family abode for the then
mayor Gonzalez. In 2004 La Palmeraie was extensively
renovated, commencing an entirely new chapter in this
historic home’s story.
The house is divided into 3 apartments, each with their
own discrete separate entrance to ensure each guest’s
privacy. The ground floor of the house is comprised of
the Master Suite, & the Garden Suite. The entire second
floor is occupied by the Executive Suite.
During the extensive renovation process, entirely new
kitchens & bathrooms were installed in each unit. All
infrastructure systems were replaced with the highest
efficiency equipment available. When possible, the
period original treatments in each suite have been
refurbished to preserve the character of the space while
adding high standards of modern design, features &
conveniences.

I spent 4 nights over the weekend of Nov 17th in the
Master Suite for my wedding. We're locals that were
looking for something beautiful to escape to during the
weekend and La Palmeraie couldn't have been more
perfect. It's a beautiful, fully restored old Jacksonville
Beach house. Hardwood floors, gorgeous furnishings
(very IKEA as someone mentioned), luxurious linens and
towels (amazing night’s sleep, super comfortable bed).
It's definitely not kid-friendly with so many nice things
including the flat screen TV's, wine cooler and high-end
kitchenware, but we weren't there for a family vacation.
If that's what you're looking for, my brother had the
suite upstairs (Executive Suite) and it's PERFECT for
families with younger kids. But, if you're looking for a
beautiful location with luxury amenities, the Master
suite is the place to stay.
I should note that after seeing the courtyard area, we
moved our rehearsal dinner for 50 to it! The fire pit,
hammock and landscaping were beautiful at night and
lit perfectly. It was a truly special event and Mike and
the space made it even more so. Unforgettable,
personal, comfortable, clean, meticulously furnished,
beautiful. Best words to describe the place!
The only issue we had was with the heat on the second
night, but Mike was there within an hour with the repair
man and it was resolved quickly and quietly. We
couldn’t have asked for a better host and I think this
shows the character of the space and owner. He really
took the time to make every little piece of the space
more comfortable with extra amenities
By the way, if you’re a techie like me, I loved the FREE
wireless access around the house and Mike’s own
photography around all of the walls. It makes you feel
like you’re traveling and staying in a gorgeous B&B in
Europe with high-tech amenities. The best of both
worlds!

This was the PERFECT place to stay. It had all the feel of
an urban swanky city loft. The decor' screamed IKEA
and there were special touches throughout. Such as a
CD mix used as a soundtrack for your stay, TVs in
every room, and easy to access internet made this place
heaven for the multi media saavy.

I stayed in the master suite at La Palmeraie with my
husband and teenage daughter for a week during
spring break this month. It was a wonderful trip. The
house is a very clean and non-smoking property that is
pet friendly and close to the beach. All of the things we
were looking for and more. Mike was very helpful and
made the whole rental process very easy. We will
definitely stay here again.
