Built in 1740, this Grade I, Palladian mansion of great distinction contains some of the most exceptional architectural and decorative features of its period to be found in the West of England. The House itself is set in a classical parkland, created by Humphrey Repton in 1793. Ston Easton Park is now the home of Peter and Christine Smedley who, after extensive restoration and refurbishment have recaptured the elegance and splendor of the 18C and created one of the finest country house hotels in Europe. Ston Easton park was awarded the Egon Ronay Gold Plate as Hotel of the Year in its first year of opening. Over the past decade, Ston Easton has gained a reputation for its exquisite service.

Children: Children are welcome. There is a charge of 30 GBP per child over 4 years of age sharing with parents. The hotels can organise baby sitting and baby listening service is also available. Children's High Tea is served from 6:00pm.
Pets: Dogs are accepted and can provide indoor kennelling. Dogs staying in guests berooms is at the discretion of the General Manager and a charge of 10 GBP per dog.
