Welcome to the Asheville Swiss Chalets, Asheville's only luxury, pet friendly vacation rentals. The Luzern Chalet is one of 6 chalets in the Swiss Chalets Community where you can enjoy privacy and serenity high atop Beaucatcher Mountain. The great part is we are literally 3 minutes from downtown Asheville with its vibrant city streets, award winning restaurants, variety of music venues and all attractions the Asheville area has to offer.
The Luzern is set amongst the trees and has a magnificent porch extending around two sides of the house. Enjoy the beautiful woodland setting in this spacious, newly decorated treetop hideaway.
We offer every convenience of home. This Chalet has Berber carpeting throughout, 2 bedrooms with luxurious bedding, (one bedroom with 2 twins beds and one with a queen), 1 ˝ baths, a gas log fireplace, a full service kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, icemaker, coffee grinder and brewer, microwave, full-size stove, toaster oven, a full complement of herbs & spices and service for 8), separate dining room and a large, comfortable living room.
Walk from the living room out of the French doors onto the expansive covered porch…read a book, enjoy a meal, or just nap, enjoying the cool breeze of the palm-leaf ceiling fans.
This chalet is perfect for large family gatherings with comfortable seating for six around the dining room table and room for eight more on the picnic table outdoors. All linens and towels (for 4) are provided.

We are only five to seven minutes from the Biltmore Estate, and minutes from the Fine Arts Theatre, the Grove Arcade and all the great shopping that Asheville has to offer. It is five minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which gives you access to the Folk Arts Center and beautiful mountain scenery with miles of hiking trails.
Your visit includes a gift certificate to Judy's awesome Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe in Weaverville. This wonderful bakery specializes in fine pastries, sandwiches, soups, gourmet salads, espresso drinks and artisan breads. It is located only 10 minutes north of the Chalets.
