Welcome to the Asheville Swiss Chalets, Asheville's only luxury, pet friendly vacation rentals. The Matterhorn Chalet is one of 6 chalets in the Swiss Chalets Community where you can enjoy privacy and serenity high atop Beaucatcher Mountain. The great part is we are literally 3 minutes from downtown Asheville with its vibrant city streets, award winning restaurants, variety of music venues and all attractions the Asheville area has to offer.
Enjoy the privacy in this quiet treetop location. You and your guests can relax in this newly renovated and decorated mountain hideaway. A gas log fireplace, hardwood floors, and large picture windows are only some of the luxuries you'll find in your home away from home.
Read a book, bird watch or gaze at the Blue Ridge Mountains from the front porch. The quiet neighborhood is great for strolling or aerobic walks.
We offer every convenience of home. Our full service kitchen includes refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, coffee grinder and brewer, toaster, service for eight and a full complement of herbs and spices.
Both bedrooms are carpeted and have queen beds with luxurious bedding. There are two full bathrooms. All linens and towels are provided.

We welcome you for a short or extended stay.
We are only five to seven minutes from the Biltmore Estate, and minutes from the Fine Arts Theatre, the Grove Arcade and all the great shopping that Asheville has to offer. It is five minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, which gives you access to the Folk Arts Center and beautiful mountain scenery with miles of hiking trails.
Your visit includes a gift certificate to Judy's awesome Well-Bred Bakery & Cafe in Weaverville. This wonderful bakery specializes in fine pastries, sandwiches, soups, gourmet salads, espresso drinks and artisan breads. It is located only 10 minutes north of the Chalets.
