Property Information |

This townhouse is in a charming Queen Anne Victorian style duplex situated behind our 140 year old home, one of Santa Barbara's oldest Victorians, which was built in the mid 1800's. We restored the house in 1998.
Completed in 2001 in the same style as the main house, the townhouse boasts a tower, complete with “witches cap”. It is tastefully furnished with an eclectic mix of family heirlooms and new craftsman style furniture.
Features include hand-inlaid wood floors, a bay window/window-seat, and a fireplace in the living room. Both units have decks.
The “A” open-air 20'x25' deck is furnished with a hot tub, a gas grill, a glass-topped wrought iron table with umbrella and 6 chairs, occasional seating and lounge chairs -- ideal for a BBQ, board games, and/or sunbathing.
The “B” covered deck is cozily ensconced in the tower creating a wonderful outdoor room. Situated just off the kitchen, the deck can become a private retreat for morning coffee, an outdoor room that's just perfect for a luncheon, a bridge game, an intimate candlelit dinner, or a nightcap.
These are 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath units, each on two floors, with sleeping capacity for up to 6. There is a king bed in the master; and twin beds in the second bedroom. The living room couch is a futon that can be made into a double bed. The two bedrooms are upstairs above the living area and have cathedral ceilings.

I hope writing this doesn't mean that it will be harder for me to reserve a week next summer, but I wanted to let you know how thoroughly we enjoyed our stay in your rental. It was darling and absolutely perfect for our needs. We love Santa Barbara, and we love your little Victorian house. It was close to everything we wanted to do. It was also clean and charming and safe. The superior craftsmanship is evident in the details from the bannister railings to the tile in the bathrooms.
For anyone who wants to vacation in Santa Barbara, I highly recommend this place! It's walking distance to State Street and all the great restaurants, shops, and museums there. It's close to several beaches. There's an awesome little outdoor breakfast nook balcony--not to mention the fireplace! The beds are comfy, and the feel is very homey. We loved it and plan to return. Thanks again for everything. Very Truly Yours.
