You would never know this private villa is just steps off Upper Duval Street in Old Town Key West.
Pineapple carvings on the fence gracing this property just hint at the charm you find inside. Enter the large wooden gate off the private lane and you step into the beautiful courtyard with crystal clear swimming pool. A statue of a happy Buddha graces the pool side and welcomes you home.
All of the bedrooms and common rooms in the property open directly to the courtyard and pool through French doors and sliding glass doors. The general design of this property lends itself perfectly to small gatherings of families and friends and should be considered an ideal spot for a wedding party to reside as well as stage a small wedding reception.
Bedding in the home includes: Bedroom #1 (blue room) has a king bed and a love seat that becomes a twin sleeper sofa. Bedroom #2 (rose room) has a queen bed. Bedroom #3, the master suite, has a king bed and a private bath with shower.
Bedroom #4 as a high-end and comfortable queen sleeper sofa. While this room is set up as a living room, it converts easily into a 4th bedroom with maximum privacy as it has separate entrances. . .and when used as a 4th bedroom, the home still has a living room area in the large great room. This great room has a sofa and loveseat as well as dining area. This sofa in the great room is also a sleeper sofa.
Another unique feature of this home is an extremely large Mexican tiled roof top deck which expands over 3/4 of the roof and over looks a renovated historic building that once was the famous Gato Cigar Factory of Key West.
The roof top deck is the perfect spot for lounging, sunning, star gazing, catching the ocean breeze, or staging a roof top cocktail party or dinner. This deck is furnished with outdoor furniture, deck side bench seating, outdoor lighting, and hammocks near a giant sapodilla tree.
