Large, open cottage right on the edge of the water on the south bay of Long Pond. This cottage was once part of the Elizabeth Arden "Maine Chance Farm". Huge deck overlooks the dock and swim area and offers spectacular views down the lake. Cottage sits on 2 acres of rolling grass and extensive shorefront with sitting area at waters edge. Very private with lots of room to roam. Cottage comes equipped with 12 foot rowboat.
Note: This cottage consists of a main building which sleeps 6 and a separate bunkhouse which also sleeps 6. The main building can be rented alone or in combination with the adjacent bunkhouse. Maine house has a queen, queen futon and full bed. Bunkhouse has a bunkbed(2 beds), full bed and full futon. The bunkhouse also has its own full bath.

The Belgrade Lakes area consists of 7 pristine lakes in a relaxed and quiet setting that is perfect for gatherings of family and friends. Whether it's world class fishing for bass/pike/lake trout, hiking, boating or golfing or just plain old relaxing, the Belgrade Lakes region has it all.
There are many miles of well-maintained trails through the Kennebec Highlands and local guides specializing in fishing trips. Belgrade Lakes Golf Club, a public, top 5 rated course in the country is just minutes from Belgrade Lakes Village. World class rafting trips on the Kennebec, Dead and Penobscot rivers are only 90 minutes away. Acadia National Park is only 2 hours away. The famous LL Bean store and Freeport outlet shopping is only a 45 minute drive from the lakes. The Belgrade Community Center also offers fun summer activities for the kids.
