This elegant, but comfortable home is decorated in the style of the Caribbean. The entire house is floored in beautiful porcelain terra cotta tiles, and the windows and doors are covered with wide plantation shutters. The open living-dining-kitchen area is located on the second floor. This comfortable and relaxed area is decorated with high quality West Indies style furniture. The living area opens onto a covered deck, which runs the length of the house. This adds significant space to the living area and allows adults to keep a watchful eye on children playing on the beach below. This deck is furnished with a large dining table and several chairs. The second floor deck offers great views and easy access to the beach. Our guest’s report that they absolutely love to sit on the deck and watch the dolphins’ jump, the pelicans zoom in for a catch, and the sea gulls flying in military formation. Of course, swimming, shelling, gathering sharks' teeth, walking, surf fishing, and sunning on the beach are everyday activities. Often tide pools form and make baby-sized swimming pools on the beach for the toddlers.
The dining area overlooks the ocean through a large set of bay windows. This area is fitted with a teak farm table that has seating for everyone. The gourmet kitchen has beautiful granite counters and is equipped with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, icemaker, smooth top electric range, and microwave. There is also a built-in ice maker that holds 25lbs of ice. You will find other conveniences, including a blender, mixer, toaster, and drip coffee pot. We provide a complete supply of dishes, flatware, storage containers, casserole dishes, and cooking utensils. The kitchen is completely open to the view of the living-dining area and the ocean beyond.
This luxury home sleeps eleven guests. It has four bedroom suites, each with its own private bath. All bedrooms have their own television and VCR or DVD player. The three main bedroom suites have sliding glass doors that open onto oceanfront decks. The fourth suite also has great ocean views. The living room has a sofa sleeper that converts to a double bed. The bed does not have a regular sofa sleeper mattress; it has an air mattress which makes this bed VERY comfortable. The living room sleeping area has even more fantastic views!
The sleeping accommodations are situated to provide comfort, luxury, and wonderful views. All are equipped with top quality mattresses and linens, including down comforters and extra pillows.
The vivid blue master suite is located on the third floor. It contains a king size bed with a flat screen LCD television mounted in front of the bed for watching television in bed. There is a separate sitting area with two plantation chairs for lounging. This area has an entertainment center with another television and Stereo/DVD/CD/MP3 player. There is also a private luxurious bath with a soaking tub, separate shower and large vanity adjoining the bedroom.
Sharing the third floor with the master suite is the cheery yellow bedroom, with twin beds, television, VCR, walk-in closet and private bath. Both bedrooms on the third floor have sliding glass doors that open onto another deck. This deck is furnished with several comfortable lounge chairs.
Also on the third floor, overlooking the ocean is a state of the art computer center equipped with high-speed Internet connection. Wifi internet connections. A fax machine and answering machine are also in the house. If you need to keep in contact with people back home, you can make FREE Unlimited Long Distance Calls throughout the United States.
On the second floor, across from the living area, is the third bedroom, which is painted a lively kiwi green. It contains a queen size bed, television, VCR/DVD combo, CD player, walk-in closet and a private bath. This room also has sliding glass doors that open onto the second floor deck. The views from both decks are absolutely fantastic!
On the ground floor, a comfortable bunkroom can serve as a children’s getaway. A bunk bed, with a double mattress on the bottom, and a twin on top will sleep three (these are regular mattresses, not “bunkies”, so they are VERY comfortable). The room has it own private bath and television with VCR. For the comfort and safety of the babies in your group, we provide a crib, booster chair, monitor, stair gate and pack and go playpen.
On the ground floor is a laundry center with a full size washer and dryer. There is also a garage where a large gas grill is kept for your grilling enjoyment.
Would you like to forget about cleaning for the week? Daily maid service is available. Try our Romance Package and enjoy a couple’s massage and candlelight dinner on the beach.
The beach is very private. Stairs from the second balcony, with a latch gate, lead you directly to the beach. Children will love the beach toys and fishing poles that are provided. Adults will appreciate the beach chairs, lounges, beach towels, and umbrellas that make relaxing on the beach so pleasant, as well as outdoor showers for rinsing sandy bodies. This beach house is designed for vacationers who want privacy, relaxation, room to stroll, and luxury accommodations.
Water's Edge guests receive a free membership during their stay for one week or longer at the Serenata Beach Club. This new ocean front facility located just one mile north of Water's Edge has two huge pools, a Jacuzzi , an excellent dining room, bar, and numerous activities for adults and children. The Activities Staff at the club has created a full schedule for the whole family to enjoy. Whether its fitness, social or just lazing around, Serenata is the place to be!
The 1200 sq. ft. fitness room features Cybex circuit training machines, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical and step machine, free weights and a stretching machine. The Serenata Beach Club provides its privileged members with days of sunshine, precious memories and quiet serenity on this unspoiled stretch of Beach.
Adult activities range from a running club to breakfast walking groups, softball, medicine ball classes, kayaking, biking, yoga, aerobics, water aerobics and body sculpting. Attend their oil painting, nutritional or couples cooking classes! There are social events that include Artist Series, Ladies Luncheons, Book Club and Culinary Demos.
Teens are not left out at Serenata. The "Tween Club" offers American Red Cross baby sitting certifications, community CPR, first aid certifications, junior life guarding, surf lessons, nutrition and the Fighting Turtles swim team.
Little kids can have fun too! They have story time, study hour, arts & crafts, and "Tot Time" for the little ones.
Serenata Saturdays in Sera's Turtle Nest offers a variety of activities to keep the little ones busy while Mom & Dad can have some fitness time in the gym. Mom & Dad can also enjoy a leisure dinner in the intimate & cozy dining room while kids attend the "Friday Frenzy" with a multitude of neat arts & crafts projects.

Close by, if you are a golf fan, this is the house for you. Water's Edge is located just ten miles from the new World Golf Village with its fabulous courses. Many other public and semi-private golf courses and clubs are located within a 20-minute drive, including the Tournament Players Club in Ponte Vedra.
Water's Edge offers FREE MEMBERSHIP during your stay for one week or more at the Serenata Beach Club. Here you can enjoy two swimming pools (one for families and one for adults only), a Jacuzzi, a fitness center, gourmet oceanfront indoor and outdoor dinning, pool bar and indoor lounge, and children's and adult activities.
For those who like to fish and hike, you are in the right place! Of course you can fish in the surf right at the house, but if you want to go bass or trout fishing in the Inter Coastal or deep-sea fishing in the Atlantic, or anything in between, there are dozens of charters located in St. Augustine. The house is located just a 10 minute drive to the Guana River State Park, a delightful area for walking or biking while watching wonderful water and marsh birds.
In case you want to plan a day trip, or an overnight jaunt to surrounding areas, it is a 30 minute drive to Marineland. It's an easy two hour drive to Orlando with its many Disney attractions, theme parks, and water parks. Or, you can zip down to Daytona to see the famous Daytona Speed Way. You can be in Daytona in a little over an hour. You might even want to head further south to the Kennedy Space Center which is a scenic 2.5 hour drive along the coast.
St. Augustine, America's "oldest city" is a delightful town to explore. The old fort, the lighthouse, and numerous interesting buildings and streets bring history alive for children and adults alike. Don't forget fun attractions such as the Alligator Farm (much more beautiful than it sounds, thanks to a wonderful collection of birds and the lovely tropical plantings), the Fountain of Youth, and other such doings. You can canvas the whole city in an afternoon by open train or horse and buggy and decide which areas to explore in more detail.
If you enjoy good eating, St. Augustine offers something for everyone. Seafood is the main attraction, of course, but don't miss the delightful Italian, French, Spanish and Mexican restaurants.
