Crystal Spings House has served as an oasis for visiting friends for more than a century. Once a private home, this 1860's farmhouse was recently renovated to meet the needs of groups up to 16 people who seek a wholistic space conducive to community building, group processes, and personal growth.
The informality of the country setting beckons guests to put their cares aside, while the "welcome home" ambiance nurtures the spirit. The tranquility of the streams, spring, gardens, and forest that surround The Crystal Spring House encourage personal reflection and group sharing. An expansive grassy lawn is perfect for outdoor sessions, picnics, yoga, or Ta'i Chi. The wide wraparound porch offers seating in rockers, swings, or hammock for relaxing to the sounds of the brook and wind chimes, playing board games, conversing, or star gazing.
Living Room includes a fireplace and piano. Oak and maple furniture can be moved to facilitate intimate conversations, small group processes, or larger group activities.
The Great Room is a 20 x 30 space designed for your entire group to meet comfortably. It can be set up in any configuration, with pillows for sitting on the extra thick Berber carpeting. Atrium windows overlook the spring and mountains.
Six cozy bedrooms accommodate as many as sixteen guests — four of the rooms have their own sinks with hot and cold water. There are three full bathrooms. A new, five-zone heating system assures comfort in any season. Two of the bedrooms are extra-large and can sleep up to four each (each room has four twin beds). In both of these large rooms, two twin beds can be set up as a king-size bed. Two other rooms have two twin beds. And two rooms have one double bed. Two futons in the Great Room are available for larger groups which will sleep up to 18.
16 foot PACIFIC YURT "simular to bottom photo" sleeps up to 4 in summer -also additional workshop breakout space.
A wonderful, fully equipped kitchen overlooks the water and herb gardens and the mountains. We provide everything your group needs to make unforgettable meals. Or have a caterer do it for you at a reasonable price.
Enjoy your meals together in a spacious, elegantly appointed antique dining room. Affords gracious dining for as many as 20 people.
Situated in a quiet country setting perfectly suited for strolling or hiking. Scenic views abound, including Slide Mountain, the highest in the Catskill Range. Woodstock offers the excitement of cultural events, antiques, and shops.

Directions:
Take the NY State Thruway (Route 87) to Exit 19 (Kingston). Take Route 28 West towards Pine Hill. Travel 32 miles to Big Indian. Turn left onto Route 47 immediately after large Billboard on left saying "Big Indian-Oliverea". Travel for 3.9 miles and turn right at the Alpine Inn sign onto Burnham Hollow Road. We are the first large white farmhouse on the left after the bridge.
